VPCH Office Expansion

This project comprised the complete transformation and expansion of an existing single-storey, below-grade office space. The scope of work included the removal of the existing green roof and the construction of a new second storey using structural steel and concrete. The result is a modern, fully functional office facility with an expanded gross floor area of 9,000 sq.ft, up from the original 5,000 sq.ft.

During demolition, unforeseen structural deficiencies were identified, necessitating the removal and replacement of approximately 500 sq.ft of reinforced concrete slab. A comprehensive structural repair strategy was implemented to ensure the long-term integrity of the building.

All work was completed while maintaining full access and uninterrupted operation of the adjacent community center and its associated services. This project exemplifies our ability to deliver complex renovations and expansions within occupied sites, with minimal disruption to surrounding operations.
